Wendy Smith is a dedicated professional with a passion for inclusion, advocacy, and personal growth. As a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), she is committed to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
With over eight years of counselling experience, Wendy brings a strengths-based, person-centered approach to her work. Now a Level 2 Counsellor, she understands the profound impact of the therapeutic relationship and the power of leaning into an individual’s strengths to foster growth, resilience, and positive change.
Throughout her leadership roles, Wendy has helped unlock potential in people’s lives, guiding them toward self-empowerment and meaningful transformation. She has volunteered extensively as a grief, loss, and trauma counsellor, as well as a mentor for teenagers, demonstrating her deep commitment to community support. Her humanitarian efforts span both domestic and international projects, working with culturally diverse, marginalised, and disadvantaged groups.
As a Contemporary Neurodiverse Specialist, Wendy champions the strengths found in difference and the power of true inclusion. Her private practice embraces the infinite possibilities of diverse minds, fostering an environment where individuals feel seen, valued, and empowered to thrive.
