Wendy Smith is a dedicated Allied Health Professional with a passion for inclusion, advocacy, and personal growth. As a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), she is committed to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
With over nine years of counselling experience, Wendy brings a strengths-based, person-centered approach to her work. Now a Level 2 Counsellor, Social Worker (Hons) and Psychotherapist she understands the profound impact of the therapeutic relationship and the power of leaning into an individual’s strengths to foster growth, resilience, and positive change.
Throughout her leadership roles, Wendy has helped unlock potential in people’s lives, guiding them toward self-empowerment and meaningful transformation. She has volunteered extensively as a grief, loss, and trauma counsellor, as well as a mentor for teenagers, which demonstrates her deep commitment to community support. Her humanitarian efforts span both domestic and international projects, working with culturally diverse, marginalised, and disadvantaged groups.
As a Contemporary Neurodiverse Specialist, Wendy champions the strengths found in difference and the power of true inclusion. She is expanding her studies in 2026 with the University of Wollongong to complete her Masters in Autism and Neurodiversity.
